Our Core Values and Vision for 2012

1) To Develop a culture of revival whereby:

1. We host the presence of God by honoring the Holy Spirit in all we do
2. We expect the supernatural manifestation of God whenever we assemble together
3. We stimulate each other to higher levels of faith through intimate encounters with Jesus
4. We take the presence of God into the community with the purpose of changing atmospheres and doing God’s will on the earth as it is in heaven.
5. We purpose to honor one another in open and honest relationships showing respect for the gifts, callings and destinies we each possess as a child of God.

Exodus 35:21 Then everyone came whose heart was stirred, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and they brought the LORD's offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments.

It is our desire as a people to give the Holy Spirit preeminence in all we do. All that we do and all that we are is of no great value if the Holy Spirit is the one that is teaching us and changing us into the image and character of Christ. The vision we have is the vision that the Holy Spirit is shaping in us and will bring it forth.

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

Acts 2:2-4 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

We are called to be a place where the presence of God is free to move in our midst how He purposes. There are times that His presence doesn’t make sense but we are called to discern His presence and yield to it so that He will be able to manifest the kingdom through us to those around us to the redemptive purposes of the cross.

Isaiah 61:1-6

(1) "The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me, Because the LORD has anointed Me To preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound;

(2) To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,

(3) To console those who mourn in Zion, To give them beauty for ashes, The oil of joy for mourning, The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; That they may be called trees of righteousness, The planting of the LORD, that He may be glorified."

(4) And they shall rebuild the old ruins, They shall raise up the former desolations, And they shall repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.

(5) Strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, And the sons of the foreigner Shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.

(6) But you shall be named the priests of the LORD, They shall call you the servants of our God. You shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, And in their glory you shall boast.

Acts 4:13 Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marveled. And they realized that they had been with Jesus.

In this House we are called to look for the ways to encourage, empower, release all ages into their individual purpose and corporate purpose. We are always looking for what the Holy Spirit is highlighting on a person. In a spirit of honor we will rejoice in the advancement of our brothers and sister of all ages. Those of us that are in leadership positions will always bring the new ones along side us to help them go further than we have gone. We will delight ourselves in making room for those around us giving them all we have gained in personal encounters with God.

Matthew 6:10 Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Luke 10:9 And heal the sick there, and say to them, 'The kingdom of God has come near to you.'

We are called to be a community of believers that take the kingdom of into the community around us. We are called to go into every influence of our socio/economic environments with His presence being manifest in signs, wonders and miracles. We are called to release captives and bring the kingdom of God near to people so that they respond to His love and forgiveness.

Colossians 1:3-5

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you, since we heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of your love for all the saints; because of the hope which is laid up for you in heaven, of which you heard before in the word of the truth of the gospel,

James 3:13-18

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

As a community of believers we will sow love towards all men in a spirit of peace. We will put on Christ and put off unrighteousness. In the spirit of Christ we will not be self seeking or moved by envy but filled with the wisdom of God with a pure heart filled with peace and gentleness. We will yield to the advancement of another full of mercy and manifesting good fruit.

Recent testimonies at The House

This past Sunday I went up for prayer because I've been having complications with my pregnancy. I have been experiencing bleeding from the placenta as well as severely swollen veins on my lower pelvis and inner thigh accompanied by excruciating pain. The doctor put me on sitting rest and ordered me to quit all activity that requires me to be on my feet.
When I went up for prayer, Diana, Shirley, and Sue laid hands on me and we began to seek God's healing power. I was in so much pain and was having a hard time standing there when all of a sudden I noticed the pain was GONE! I then ran immediately to the bathroom to check the swelling of the veins and was so excited when I saw the swelling had gone down significantly.
Since then, I have had NO bleeding of the placenta, NO pain, and barely any swelling! I am so thankful to Papa for once again pouring out His blessings and love upon me. All I asked of Him was to stop the bleeding and pain and to protect my baby from any harm, and HE DID!! So to GOD be ALL glory, strength, honor, and praise!! He really is Jehovah Rafa!! His love endures forever and He gives only the best to His children. We need only ask.

We continue to declare that we are a cancer free zone and this is one of many testimonies over the last months of healing

I checked with Alice again to confirm what I heard was said in church on Sunday. Basically—Pet scan failed to detect any cancer in one adrenal gland, and lowered amount in other (both had been fully involved before). Pet scan also showed no new areas of cancer, diminished areas of cancer in bones (had been widespread), and much reduced aggressiveness of existing cancer (shown by reduced uptake of sugar in Pet scan). In other words, the cancer that is still present in her body appears to be causing very little harm. Oncologist is very surprised and pleased. Alice also senses that she has been removed from the realm of patients of greatest concern. Much to be thankful for! Can’t wait to see what God is going to do with Alice, and how he is going to use her situation to minister to the doctor and other “difficult” patients. We are grateful to your church in helping to uphold Alice. This sure has been a walk of faith—not sight!

Looking for something to do for the weekend? I would suggest that you plan a weekend get away to The House of Praise. Come join us for the Friday night and Sunday morning service and use Saturday to join us at the Reformation center, Healing at The House or at the School of Ministry workshops. The rest of the time check out the beach or one of our many State Parks. Many places are within a 30 minute drive from the church. Here are some places that we recommend to stay at. You get the best of both, you can soak in His wonderful presence during our services and ministry times, as well as soaking in the richness of His presence in creation.
