(3) And there appeared to them tongues as of fire distributing themselves, and they rested on each one of them.
(4) And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit was giving them utterance.

Luke 24:48-49 NASB
(48) "You are witnesses of these things.
(49) "And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."

Acts 1:6-8 NASB
(6) So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, "Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?"
(7) He said to them,"It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;

(8) but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."

The Feast of Pentecost is on May 27 this year which coincides with Sunday. We are fasting throughout this month in anticipation of what Pentecost Sunday will look like. Many things are happening on the peninsula and we are filled with anticipation for the next outpouring Abba is going to release. Many different groups and churches are releasing the kingdom in their places of influence and we’re delighted to be a part of all that is happening.

If you’re in the neighborhood on May 27 please join us in this time of celebration and filling by Holy Spirit. We are called to release the kingdom with signs, wonders and miracles; this will be a day of impartation and activation so you won’t want to miss it.

We invite you to join us at The House this month as we celebrate all the Christ has done. Bring the sick and diseased that they might experience the healing presence of God. The broken and hopeless are being saved and their lives set on the path of freedom and abundant life. Those bound by afflicting and tormenting spirits are being set free through the various ministries of healing that are available at The House. So come on out and experience His presence with us!

These first two testimonies happened during one of our services

Now for the testimony: About 6 or 7 years ago, the church my husband and I joined did not require, but emphasized being baptized in the Holy Spirit. From that point forward, a part of my focus was on praying that I would be. At first I prayed steadily and then waned some. I hadn't totally resigned myself to the thought that I would never speak in tongues, but once in a while I did think that I may never be baptized in the Spirit. Unfortunately, I just wasn't going to be "one of those people". My husband and I decided to search out another church that would help in many ways regarding our spiritual journey. We were led by God to the House Of Praise which we have attended for approximately 1 and 1/2 months. During worship this last Sunday, I began to feel a prompting to open my hands for receiving. Then a low hum began to take root in me. Eventually, my mouth moved outside of my own will and I began verbal utterances. I was excited, surprised, and amazed all at the same time. I couldn't believe that I had actually spoke in tongues. I had waited so long and had almost given up. I thank God that His Spirit is so wholly invited into the House and He is working there. I am also very grateful to have received the baptism and am expectantly awaiting the fruition of other gifts that I know the Spirit has given me.

This weekend my friend Jen (she was with me in church) was telling me that she was suffering from sciatica. During Sunday service, she told me it was bothering her so I prayed over her. A few minutes later I asked if she felt any better. She said yes and she was just thanking God for the healing. Monday, I received a text from her saying I had the gift of healing and she "wasn't kidding". She, of course, was very happy.

These last testimonies happened during the Basic Sozo training.

Wanted to thank you for hosting such a wonderful training weekend at your church for Sozo! I was waiting several years for the right place and timing that would allow me to attend and was delighted to finally have the opportunity for training. My sozo appt was also amazing and I am excited about what the Lord is doing in this region.

Thank you so much for inviting me to be a part of the Basic Sozo Training Workshop. It was an incredible experience. I've signed up to be a 3rd chair as soon as the opportunity comes available. I am also interested in learning more about Shifting Atmospheres - where can I get more information on this? I am really sorry I missed this conference!

The people that led the training were well informed, compassionate and enthusiastic about others sharing in this ministry. I felt from the moment I walked into the building Friday night that this was going to be an experience like no other. The music had all the perfect elements, joy & praise yet tender and intimate like I wanted to crawl into my Daddy's lap and rest in His presence. I felt once the music started that I was "home" and I belonged. The presence of our Father was so thick and tangible, hearing the Holy Spirit took my breath away at times, the pictures & visions Jesus showed me were amazing and the LOVE that our Almighty King of Glory poured out on His children that weekend filled the room like a sweet perfume. So incredibly beautiful!

I received deliverance from pain in my shoulder that's been plaguing me ever since November. One of your team members prayed with me (Ginny?) and the Lord took over and the mess that had been hanging on me ran screaming! Darkness flees from the Light, Hallelujah!! Thank you again for sharing all of this wonderful and amazing ministry with me. I look forward to more to come!

Testimonies from the Shifting Atmospheres Conference

Thanks so much for the awesome conference this past weekend! We will never be the same. Both Tom and I received great healing and freedom from our inner healing session! Blessings to you! We'll keep Milford in our prayers for a shifting atmosphere and for freedom for our youth.

I wanted to thank you and the rest of the House of Praise family for an amazing conference! Your efforts blessed many directly and as we each return to our homes they will be blessed even more through our prayers and agreement with God's plans.
So thanks for putting in all the hard work!

I am still on a roll with all that happened last weekend! God is so faithful and seeing Him so abundantly visible in the atmosphere around HOPFAP and your family, not to mention the DeSilva's and Faith Blatchford, has left me longing for more of Him. Thanks again for your hospitality, and let me know when you see a time for me to get back there for a shabar with you and your friends from Maryland.

Toward the end of worship on Thursday night, I saw tongues of fire coming from the stage area, floating out over and alighting on the heads of the congregation.Treasure hunting; I first heard about treasure hunting soon after I started attending the House. It caught my interest then, and I have waited with anticipation for it to happen again. Fascinating! I went into the exercise with two strikes to the negative for the process to work, 1] While I do hear from Holy Spirit, I don't usually hear immediately on command. I have a sort of delayed reaction. I usually hear after the main event is over. 2] I'm a skeptic. Both of these deterrents were overcome, and I'm a believer that even I can do treasure hunts.

Here are two testimonies I want to share from the conference. The first one being about practicing shifting atmospheres in my home. I was feeling angry so often and I couldn’t figure it out because I was healed from all that and had been to sozo 3 times and it baffled me why I would fall back into the very thing I know I had been delivered and set free from. When I received Dawna’s teaching it was like Holy Spirit shined this bright spot light and said this is it! After receiving this revelation I went home and started implementing her teaching and I spoke out about seeing and not agreeing and sending back the evil spirit influences that I was picking up but weren’t mine! Immediate shift! My kids thought I was weird and still do and would even get angry while I was speaking but it couldn’t touch me! I am finally walking in the freedom that I knew I had all along! Thank You Holy Spirit, thank you Dawna! I am practicing my discernment and having a ball doing it!!!

Also before Dawna’s teaching in worship that evening Jesus gave me a vision of us dancing together and there was NO floor! I asked Him what this meant and He said no limits are with Me! As long as we are romancing together and I have you in My arms there is no need of a floor to step on to have steadiness and security, I AM all that and more, I never let go!

This past Sunday I went up for prayer because I've been having complications with my pregnancy. I have been experiencing bleeding from the placenta as well as severely swollen veins on my lower pelvis and inner thigh accompanied by excruciating pain. The doctor put me on sitting rest and ordered me to quit all activity that requires me to be on my feet.
When I went up for prayer, Diana, Shirley, and Sue laid hands on me and we began to seek God's healing power. I was in so much pain and was having a hard time standing there when all of a sudden I noticed the pain was GONE! I then ran immediately to the bathroom to check the swelling of the veins and was so excited when I saw the swelling had gone down significantly.
Since then, I have had NO bleeding of the placenta, NO pain, and barely any swelling! I am so thankful to Papa for once again pouring out His blessings and love upon me. All I asked of Him was to stop the bleeding and pain and to protect my baby from any harm, and HE DID!! So to GOD be ALL glory, strength, honor, and praise!! He really is Jehovah Rafa!! His love endures forever and He gives only the best to His children. We need only ask.

We continue to declare that we are a cancer free zone and this is one of many testimonies over the last months of healing

I checked with Alice again to confirm what I heard was said in church on Sunday. Basically—Pet scan failed to detect any cancer in one adrenal gland, and lowered amount in other (both had been fully involved before). Pet scan also showed no new areas of cancer, diminished areas of cancer in bones (had been widespread), and much reduced aggressiveness of existing cancer (shown by reduced uptake of sugar in Pet scan). In other words, the cancer that is still present in her body appears to be causing very little harm. Oncologist is very surprised and pleased. Alice also senses that she has been removed from the realm of patients of greatest concern. Much to be thankful for! Can’t wait to see what God is going to do with Alice, and how he is going to use her situation to minister to the doctor and other “difficult” patients. We are grateful to your church in helping to uphold Alice. This sure has been a walk of faith—not sight!

Looking for something to do for the weekend? I would suggest that you plan a weekend get away to The House of Praise. Come join us for the Friday night and Sunday morning service and use Saturday to join us at the Reformation center, Healing at The House or at the School of Ministry workshops.
